Rate of duty on import of machine from china.

I want to know the rate of duty on machine when machine are importing from china? and point to be remember when machine importing from china.

Rate of customs duty depends on the HSN code of the item being imported. For details refer tariff: https://cbec.gov.in/htdocs-cbec/customs/cs-tariff2015-16/cst2015-16-idx

from HSN code i try it but rate is coming around 18.5%.

as per my knowledge rate of duty on machine when importing is may be around 30%.

but i want exact rate of duty.

The rate given for the respective tariff is only basic customs duty. To this, the following are added to arrive at the total customs duty value:

If any other additional type of duty is applicable, that will also be added to arrive at the total duty.

please use custom duty calculator where you will get full amount of duty in icegate.gov.in
