In register of investments, only those investments would be included which are not held in companies name, i mean which are held in name of nominees and the same are not pledged would come right??
Because there is a practice in market to put the entries as mentioned in demat statement whether pledged or not ?
Pls confirm.

True. All investments which are not held in company's name I.e held in the name of depository and company being the beneficial owner are to be recorded in the register irrespective of whether they are pledged or not.

However the company may hold shares in the subsidiary company in the name of nominee if it is necessary to do so to ensure the min no of members is not reduced below the statutory limit
