05 October 2023Sir, I purchased fabric after applying for GST and getting an ARN number. When I purchased goods, I gave the company number to the supplier. After I got the GST number, I told the supplier to please submit purchase details in the GST portal, but the supplier told me that he had filed in B2C, and now I can't submit. Please let me know how I can submit my purchase invoice in the GST portal.

I paid a GST 5% tax invoice, sir. What is the process when he submits in B2C and he can edit and submit into B2B?

If You get proper TAX Invoice then YOU can claim ITC.
Otherwise no way for claim...
Go and ask Correct Tax Invoice from supplier...
Otherwise better complaint to GST Dept...

As per law, You have to return goods to suppliers & receive payment and take Credit Note of it.
Again , You should purchase the same goods on ur GSTIN and make payment of it & get proper Tax invoice. Than take credit of it.
Because, Payment done before taking GST Registration and take credit of it, will not eligible.
