Purchase entry in tally

Sir, we have a local tax invoice purchase bill of Rs. 67581 bill dt is 30.11.16. but we received the bill in 1.1.17. We already submitt our sale tax return of Nov 16. My question is that in which date we entry the bill in tally? ( in bill date or in receiving date)
