Professional income and income from other sources
I want to know if my income from profession is less than 9 lakhs total income including income from other sources is more than 9 lakhs for a particular year , whether registration under Service Tax is required ?

If the agreegate value of taxable services provided by you exceeds 9 lakhs then only you need to register yourself,there is no need to consider income from other sources.
