	Is interest on ppf received tax free?

	Yes but i think it will be exempted only upto 100000 u/s 80c. Kindly correct me if i am wrong.

	Hi Friends, Interest on PPF is exempt u/s 10(15) without any limit.

	No Amir ....the section u wrote is incorrect!!!! Interest on PPF is exempt u/s 10(11) under 80c.

	HI Rohit, Thanks buddy for the correction I just mixed it up with Interest on Post office Savings Bank Account.
