What is the procedure and format to prepare "power of attorny" in the name of a person to sign a document.

Hi,
POA is a document under Stamp Act and attracts stamp duty. Accordingly, you need to execute POA on stamp paper. As far as registration is concerned, revocable POA are required to be registered.
Format- It can be executed in the format of deed. For sample PFA.
