hi,

i had given my 1st attempt in nov 11 but dint clear nw my question is should i buy both tax & law books or only tax book ?last time i referred munish bandari 4 law & bangar 4 tax. can u suggest better authors please.....

FOR LAW MUNISH BANDARI IS SUFFICIENT NO NEED TO CHANGE ...

FOR TAX MY OPINION IS TN MANOHARAN WHICH IS STUDENT FREINDLY AND PURELY EXAM POINT OF VIEW AT BOTH IPCC AND FINAL LEVELS..... WHEN COMPARED TO BANGAR

PREPARE WELL FOR NEXT ATTEMPT

@ indu ... no need to change the costing and accounts ... they are sufficient for upcoming exams ....

@ shivani .. its impossible to get munish book soft copy ... try for a hard copy ...

@ gunjan ... use paduka publication books for advanced accounting..

Law - Munish bhandari handbook plus padhuka.... tax - TN Manoharan..... accounts - Praveen sharma class notes.

MUnish bhandari not required to be changed only you are required to change your study pattern. This is a final level where you are required to apply concepts uneder various situation in differnt manner. Analythical mind is required. Learn the concepts with crystal clarity...

DIRECT TAX

You can refer TN Manoharan or padhuka. you can also refer ahuja. This is a core subject for Final level. Careful understanding of taxation provisions is essential for clearing exam

INDIRECT TAX

Bangar is a standard book you can also refer Vaidheeswaran book.

BOOKS FOR CA FINAL

You may go for the following options regarding books for ca final:

For Accounts: M.P. Vijay kumar or Shukla & Grawal along with Module And Compilation and for AS part go for D.S. Rawat

For CA Final AS preparation---Dolphi Desouza is good.

Strategic Financial Management : V Pattabi Ram

3. For Adv. Auditing & Professional Ethics: Prakhar Sharma/Paduka/ V.K Agrawal
Note: (MP Vijay Kumar can be used for AS reference)
4. For Corporate & Allied Laws: Munish Bhandari and Bare Act

5. For Mafa: Module and Notes of Tarun Mahajan. You may also refer A.N Sridhar.

6. For Direct Taxes: TN Manoharan (Theory part), Circular, Notification, Amendments, case laws. Also refer Vinod Gupta Modules.

7. For Indirect Taxes: Vandana Bangur

8. For Information System control & audit: Module and Dinesh Madan

9. For Costing: Saxena and vashist or Ravi M Kishore with module

10. For Financial Reporting: MP Vijay Kumar or Paduka

Also refer Scanners and Suggested Answer issued by ICAI for previous year exams and revised them properly.

For some good notes explore CAClubindia forum and share file section. You may also use search facility of club.
