If a company paying Rs. 1000/- pm as a Room Rent beside the monthly salary to their employees whose monthly salary is Rs. 15 K. In this case the same is treated as a salary or perqusite. If perqusite, is there any tax applicble?

YES IT WILL BE TREATED AS HRA AND TAXABLE SALARY. HOWEVER DEDUCTION CAN BE CLAIMED U/S 10(13A)
