As per existing system, service tax assesees (individual) are required to pay service quarterly.

Under GST, what is the time line to pay tax

Hi john,

please donot compare present regime with our future GST.

all procedures laidown from July - return to be filed GSTR 1-2 -3 ( some now defered to sep month initially)

but now GSTR 3B is introduced for payment of tax by 20th Aug and every month

so no more VAT/CENTRAL EXCISE/SERVICE TAX/ENTERTAINMENT TAX all subsumed in GST ie absorbed like cotton

and new cotton has emerged in different color

Every Month 15th to 20th.

After generate GSTR 2 & 2A you can pay the GST Liability
