Pan Surrender

Dear Deepak go to https://www.incometaxindia.gov.in  then to Pan, to Pan Grivances, on hitting the link u willbe taken to a page with an option to surrender Pan fill the form & take printout of the filled form.

if you have more than one pan card..  Just visit NSDL site for change and correction in PAN and file the form with the PAN you want to surrender. https://tin.tin.nsdl.com/pan/index.html

the assesee have only one pan & want 2 surrender it

If you have only 1 (One) PAN then you have to contact your assessing officer for surrender of    your PAN;

2. If you have more than 1 (One) PAN then you can surrender the PANs in excess of 1 (One) to any TIN-FC (Tax Information Network-Facilitation Centre) near by you. For details of TIN-FCs please log on to www.tin-nsdl.com .

if u have only one pan number and now u want to surrender that. u can do easily....Go to Nearest TIN-Fc. and collect a form from there and fill it and give them.  in 7-10 days u get to information abt surrender of pan number........ i did it 2 month ago, so therefore i knew it verywelll.....

Hi All,

With the recents updates and changes the site has moved to the below link, to surrender your additional PAN's

https://incometax.sparshindia.com/pan/pan.asp?id=0

You will need to click on the 3rd point mentioned there.. furnish all the details and click submit after which you will recieve the Complaint No. .. please make sure that you have that noted some where because that is the only way you can proof that you have submitted the request for cancellation of your additional PAN card.

I Have Surrenderard Pan Card of parneship Firm what is procesure of surrender pan card?

Hi All Expert,

I tried to surrender my PAN through TIN-FC with Ack no # 104349700003043 but still my pan no has not surrendered.

I also tried another method to surrender my pan and used the link https://incometax.sparshindia.com/pan/PAN.asp?id=2 where i launched complaint # 95078930 but still no positive result.

I checked the pan through 'Know You Pan' link from Incometaxindia.gov.in website and still there are multiple records found on my name.

I also visited to nearer Income Tax office and tried to meet AO but he also replied that, there is no way to surrender the pan.

I am getting frustrating with the procedure which i followed.

please help in my problem and guide me to fix it.
