If the pan card had been lost n we didn't remember our pan number...what to do??...what is the procedure to proceed with???

Use the above link or if its given in any bank you can use net banking and under profile you can see the PAN no.

No issues. You can check the PAN NO online by visiting incometaxindiaefiling.gov.in website and then left hand corner you have an option KNOW YOUR PAN. Just click on it and provide the basic details like name and dob. You will get your PAN details.

Also apply for a PAN card asap in form 49 A (if you are an Indian citizen) and 49AA (if not an Indian citizen) by submitting an FIR copy wrt PAN card lost. For lost pan card, FIR copy is mandatory. So you need to visit your nearest police station and get an FIR done.

Same condition is my..i hv done this..wll think u wll cll to customer care..and tell ur problem to them..nd aply for a new pancard.its will very soon come in ur bank.

could you please explain what did you mean? I didn't get it. Did you mean PAN card to come in your bank. How? As in there are no such provisions. PAN card is delivered at your address that you mentioned it while applying

Agreed with Rinkal, But you need not apply for a fresh pan card, instead go for reprint by filing "change and correction in pan" form don't file 49A Regards

As said above in replies know your pan by Date of birth ,surname , Captcha ...at incometaxefiling web site .you can fill 49A and apply for pan(new) for reprint.you can communicate with NSDL Authorities by Acknowledge no received after submission by online and sent by post to the NSDL.Via email auoting acknowledge no.mail id is :: tininfo @ nsdl.co.in the team will be responsible for your queries in time....
