Online service tax st-3 filling through xml uitility

Hi,

I am filling online service tax return through XML utility. We are providing two different services while service tax is payable for only one service.

After filling all the details and validating all the sheets, when I click 'Validate Return & Submit' it shows error 'Run-time error '6': Overflow' and bring me back to the sheet 'Return' on Taxable Services Provided row.

If I delete one service from the sheet and click 'Validate Return & Submit' it generates the XML file without any error.

Please provide the solution of the same.

file with web based return utility. ( dont use xml facility)

Check your sheet once again, one or more "tick" would be required..

Hi Manish,

we are also getting the same error. and after lot of efforts we found out that it is because there is some serious error in ST-3 utility when we select "copyright on cienmatographic films & recording service"

Are you selecting the same service. Or have got the resolution to this error. If yes how.

Please share it with us.

Try this it removes runtime errors. In google search the file name WindowsXP-KB942288-v3-x86.exe and download and install it. Then restart the pc. Regards
