Sir our received a notice under section 139(9), he was not respond in time, due date is over, so un able to give reply through online. so i request you , how to resolve it. Please advice me.

Check the status of the ITR. If its 'INVALID', file new belated return u/s. 139(4).

First a fall check the status of your ITR form due to this you easily know the reason behind the notice and after knowing the reason you can easily give a reply to them.

Dear Sir,

I have the same problem persisting , and have tried filing belated return u/s 139(4), nut still it is showing as Invalid.

Please suggest.

@ Saurabh Modi: Invalid means cancelled. No chance of any rectification. That implies, if possible, file new return may be belated, but in any case that won't change status of earlier one.

@ Gangadhara Rao: Now forget about any earlier return filed. File fresh ITR u/s. 139(4), as due date of filling is over.

Sir

I am trying to file return u/s 139(4), its showing only one original return can be filed u/s 139(4), please change the section and retry. but in website is showing defective and its INVALID. How to resolve it. My return details : AY-2015-16, date of filing :16.7.2016, date of invalided return 30-01-2017. please clarify

Write a letter to Jurisdictional ITO for condonation of delay for rectification of defect. If time permitted you may be allowed to file u/s. 139(9).

I Submitted response against 139(9) on Sept 2017, but response status shown filed & ITR form also shown invalid

This is contraversial.........

so hit & trial method.....try filing u/s. 139(5) as revised return.

If the original return is 'Invalid' it will not accept the revised return, in that case check if belated return u/s. 139(4) is accepted....... Otherwise contact helpdesk......

Sir, I already submitted Response Against Defective Return on 21/09/2017, but response status shonw submitted & file is not process by income tax depoartment, what can i do for same side

So, the status is not 'Invalid' but 'Response Successfully Submitted'

Here no need to do anything, but wait......

If everything OK... it should have been processed by this time.....

But some more defect anticipated.. Wait on.....
