Notice u/s 139(9)
I have received a notice u/s 139(9) stating my return as a defective one. When i logged into my e-filing site to file the response to that notice it is showing that no records has been found.What can be the reason for it ??
If it continue to show that how can i file the response to that notice after 15 days? Do i need to revise my return or refile original return ??

Identify the reasons for defective return based on notice received by you u/s 139(9) and then file return u/s 139(9) (by selecting option available in return) with proper correction at the places which caused for defective return.
Do revert in case of any questions.

I have already identified the reason and generated XML but when i went to upload the XML file in reponse to notice it is showing that there are no records found.
