wether i can take form C from the buyer in advance on account of confirmed contract for sale , kindly give referrence link and details for ur answers

Dear Vivek,

Form C is a declaration to be furnished by the Buyer that he is regd under CST Act and Rules and purchase is for the purpose of resale or use in manufacturing.

In case both the conditions are met, form can be collected. You are required to submit form C for a quarter by the end of next quarter. You may ask for a form in advance, but in case of repeat order, you will be required to again collect form C for subsequent transactoins. Alternatively you may collect form C for all transactions in a quarter which is to be submitted to the dept.by the end of next quarter.
