Not able to request Form16B on traces

Hi, i have filled the form 26QB on 7th February and registered to traces website. when i try to request download of form 16b, it says "no data available"

can anyone explain me why this is? thanks in advance. am not from financial background so do not understand the nitty gritties

Form 16B will be available for download from the website of Centralized Processing Cell of TDS (CPC-TDS) www.tdscpc.gov.in

Please check once again. You can easy find an article on web that how to download form 16B.

If you filed, you can download in trace. Use login credentials. Duly filled challan details. You can generate Form 16B.

Only buyer can download Form 16B by following the steps below:

1. The taxpayers need to log into TRACES.

2. Post login, the user needs to go to the Downloads tab.

3. Form 16B will be available in that tab.

4. Enter the details that need to be filled in (such as the seller’s PAN, assessment year, the acknowledgement number of form 26QB, etc.), and click on Go

5. Once all these steps are complete, you will be able to download Form 16B

I am a buyer and have followed the procedures provided above.

when i request using traces website, i get below. My for 26B is correct with right values dfor buys and sellers and i am providing all details to request form16b using my already filed form26QB

In that case meet some nearby CA.

You can also DM me your details to look after the reason of non downloading of Form 16B

First log into traces .

Dear Friends, Thanks for the response. my issue is resolved. this was my first time and feels like govt. website takes 3-4 days to process your FORM26QB.

7th Feb - Filed my 26QB.

8th Feb till 11th Feb - logged into traces and tried to request form 16b. Failed to do so due to above error. What i observed is the challan status was showing unclaimed. You can check Challan status on Traces website.

11th Feb Evening - logged into traces and checked the challan status. It showed consumed. With that i was able to raise request for form16b without any error.

It feels like it takes 3-4 days for us to request form16b. as long as you see challan status on traces, i believe it should be okay and just follow-up. every day.
