05 November 2015I am not able to rectify the online revised return second time from the tab “Rectification Request” where we have to mention the latest CPC reference number as mentioned in the intimation u/s 143(1).
The online system accepts Rectification only once and the message at Rectification Request reads as ‘Your Rectification has already been sent to AST ‘.
So PL ADVICE what is the remedy now to upload the revised return second time.

while making rectification you must have done all rectifications done, if not then wait for rectification verification to be completed by system or AO then it would be open again
alternate you can speak on phone with CPC bangalore with your query

can I upload the revised return via the normal uploading of the IT return instead of routing it through the tab “Rectification Request”.

after issue of 143(1) , a revised return is not a wise thought, it may invite regular assessment by AO

it is ok for assessment by AO, but in online efiling, but can I upload the revised return via the normal uploading of the IT return instead of routing it through the tab “Rectification Request”.

perhaps you dont know the meaning of asseessment by AO, and you have filed a wrong return, as well as a wrong rectification also, better to speak up with CPC and ask then to cancel the filed rectification, so that you can file correction rectification u/s 154

just for knowledge how to efile revised return. Is it required to efile revised return through the tab “Rectification Request”. or is it to be uploaded in a different way

if you file revised return then it will be sent to Jurisdiction AO bcoz you got intimation u/s 143(1).
You can rectify for apparent mistakes made by CPC.
First decide whether you want rectification or revision
Can you clarify what are the new things you wnat to take in return.
