I came accross a very good book on IFRS which is authored by Ms Veena and Prof Arif Ahmed. I suggest people who are looking out for a guide / handbook on IFRS to look into this publication.

I really appreciate the way the books on IFRS are available in the market.

Basic Books

Snow white - Vijay kumar (Rs 120) - Good for basic IFRS

Get through guide on IFRS - 3 volume book for Rs 3500 - Good for basic IFRS

Advance Books

Taxmann publication - Guide to IFRS by IASB (Rs 2800 Approx) - Full text of IFRS bare standard

CCH Publication - Manual of accounting PwC (Rs 3400 Approx) but wait for 2010 publication - for advance users

Deolitte - Rs 3400 Approx but wait for 2010 publication - for advance users

Taxmann publication - T.P.Ghosh (Rs 1200 Approx) - Good publication

A.N.Saini (Rs 1600 Approx) - Okay

U can get maximum books from the Book Emporium in Andheri E, near Station
