Hi!I'm appering for cpt exams to b held in dec 2012,,,,i just want to know is it now mandatory to get 30% marks in all for subjects of cpt to pass in coming dec cpt exam?

Its better to see in the Exam form, thats the proof for you whether its over all 50% or 30% subject wise and overall 50%. Nobody knows properly regarding this query.

Yes, securing 30% in each subject in CPT is now mandatory

This has been notified by ICAI and the Official Notificationf or the same is also available on the website of ICAI

Yes, the same has been made applicable.. The examination forms will provide the official confirmation.

I talked to a senior council memebr of ICAI...he confirmed that subjectwise passing will be applicable from June 2013 exam....and now the passing requirement is same as before for December 2012 examination....!!
