Need your help for clarification on LTA calculation. My monthly basic salary is Rs 53667/- , I joined a new organisation on 5 December 2013 and for the period 5 to 31 December I was paid a basic salary of Rs 46742/-. What would be my eligible LTA amount for the period (5 to 31 December)

there is no rule as per IT to allow LTA exemption.
You can get exemption to the extent of the amount offerred in your CTC.
