Life as an Articled Assistant .......
I am addressing to all the students who are or are going to become Articled Assistant.
Remember, your life will start at office and this is the time to grab the opportunity to learn. There is a popular adage, "I wanted to learn but nobody taught me". But other adage says, "I learnt because I wanted my BOSS to teach me".
In articleship you will come across seniors, super seniors and qualifieds before you report to Partner directly. All are good if you are good. Also, you must have fire in the belly to learn, learn and learn. There is no place for shy people or frustrated people. You must form a habit to give the best and in such a manner that your boss misses you the most.
Then there is another factor and that is discipline. You must maintain the highest ethics in relation with article or staff of the opposite s*x. You are in CA Profession which by any standards is the best profession in the world. People who are not able to understand CA say that CA means life of ticks. My simple answer is that it is definitely life odf ticks in order to avoid wrongs.
A CA plays a pivotal role in the client's life. You must treat your client as GOD and do not indulge in any gossip. Idhar Udhar ki baat mat karo because it is waste of time. Do not personalize clients as they will or may report to your boss and this leads to your name in bad books.
I will definitely share more information subsequently. But remember that BOSS is always right. That is the life for 3 1/2 years and respect them and get their blessings to become CA.
