hmmm thats why i m confused. wether to continue or quit

Work is work..whether it is short or big..there is rule that CA should not do the marketing..why can't u get the name in doing marketing..hope u may become marketing head in ur bank..

A CA can be good at marketing also...besides marketing is not a bad field to get progress

Hi Deepak, Firstly   you decide is there any scope to progress by taking up new task and can you enjoy that new task? If there is no scope and you cannot enjoy the work means please come out and find suitable job for you.  There are plenty of opportunities available for CA's. Please remember that "Its better to be a king in hut rather than  slave in palace". Wish u all the best

as we all know, the effect of recession targeted most of professions and CA profession is one of them. it is a fact. some of my(CA) friends are doing marketing , some are doing clerical work , curse the recessin not the abilities of CAs who are doing such work.

if your goal is to make your career in a particular direction then you can be rigid , regarding yur job profile or else if goal is earning money than , can do marketing also. 

if we have to do marketing , why we did CA , may be the question..........

my answer is 

 though times never lasts, but tough people do....

till than CA fraternity must have to do clerical work , marketing work and even HR work.......

wait till younger lot of CAs able to decide their job profile and salary , currently these things are market driven only.................

I strongly believe out of my experience, being a Finance Manager, for the past 15 years, EDUCATION IS AN ENTRANCE TICKET to get into an expected stream of life.

Secondly THE EXPERTISE in the qualification secured, can be obtained only if we work in real world, because even GUPTHAs and SHUKLAs can show us the pre printed forms of books, the bosses of this commercial world are filled with AMBANIES with excellent money generating options.

Hence, I wish to state for this thread that, "as per the European employer circle, INDIANS CAN ENTER IN ANY SHOUES EVEN IT IS NOT SUITABLE FOR THEM", grab the chance to grow up and implement your EXPERTISE in that job.

Selling a product by being  a CA is not a shame one, but I trust a CA can proove that he is the best seller among all.

The word job satisfaction can be obtained only if you are self employed and doing your own job. If you are paid for it, and if you get satisfaction in it, some thing is wrong with your boss.

Pls. don't go behind the words, like job satisfaction, and waste your valuable time.

Above all, a marketing guy can prepare a realistic financials than an accounts professional, because he is the real source who fixes the margin.

AVOID EGOS, AVOID MIS LEADING WORDS, AND COMEUP IN LIFE BY LEARNING AND IMPLEMENTING YOUR EXPERTISE.
