Kpo's.. is it a good career option???

Hiii friends...

I qualified CA in july 2012 and am unemployed till date. I hace done my articleship from a local firm and so dont have much exposure about auditing which closes my doors to Big 4. Being unemployed for 6 months now closes my option of Corportae Sector also. CA Firms are not hiring girl candidates.

Please can anyone advice me regarding the career profile in KPOs. Is it a good option to enter a KPO. I have heard that job profile of CA in KPO is same as that of Bcom and its job expreience wont be considered by industries if I go for a shift in future. Is it true???

Also can anyone advice me regarding the growth options in KPO's??? And a list of best KPOs to go for in NCR region. Presently I'm from Chandigarh but ready to relocate to Delhi/Gurgaon..

Mam,

Although I have not yet qualified , but yet i can bet that KPO will not provide you the platform from where you can utilise your calibre. Better opt for etablishing your own firm. Or if not possible , then opt for some middle sized firms for some less bucks. BUT NO KPO'S SUGGESTED FROM MY SIDE

NO......don't waste your valuable time in KPOs......rather go for small and less salary job in any company.....specially in manufacturing company....... Best of Luck!!

As you already said that u are unemployed since last 6 months, and CA firms also not taking u because of a girl.

There is a quote that "this is better to have somethig rather than nothing".

I suggest to first try for any type of ca firm, whether it is in your home town or in the delhi/ncr. If you unable then go for the kpo/bpo also.

In KPO jobs you will get some less exposure but you will be employed and earn something, that gives you motivation and confidence.

And it will open the further ways for you also..

And about the career or growth in KPO, this is immaterial, because you have not to do work whole life in KPO. The degree of CA is very important and has its worth, which will give you a better opportunities in future..

Hello,

I think all sector is good if you are working properly and always choose good subject (by which subject is getting happiness to you), then your career will run. Yes, KPO sector is not bad for career option because our technical firm is growing on a good conditioning way’s. Don’t worries about your future keep it up! @ Orimark Technologies

For Ladies it is a good choice b`cos After marriage They have to take responsibility of their Kids & family.

If there a good environment & 2/3 days off in a week with handsome salary & carreer growth ...then go for KPO..!!!

its btr to work in kpos rather than small stupid firms for free

n its not dat one doest not get job in industry after kpos

mncs prefer kpo people if they have similar work in their company

n one can switch within kpos as well

KPO job is good or not. What's the highest salary a person can get in KPO. Because I am doing job as a assistant merchandiser in Export Industry bout I am not ok with it. Please suggest me what should I have to do?
