ALF-DAY WORKSHOP ON "ENTRY TAX IN WEST BENGAL" ON 31.05.12 AT ICSI-EIRC BUILDING -
Eastern India Regional Council of The Institute of Company Secretaries of India, (EIRC of ICSI) is organizing a Half-Day Workshop on the topic “Entry Tax in West Bengal” on Thursday, the 31st May, 2012 at ICSI-EIRC Building, 3A, Ahiripukur 1st Lane, Kolkata 700 019 from 5.00 pm to 7.30 pm. The detail of the programme is given below.
CS T. B. Chatterjee, Sr. Executive Vice-President & Company Secretary, DIC India Limited, will address and interact with the participants on the topic “Entry Tax in West Bengal” as Guest Speaker.

Eastern India Regional Council of The Institute of Company Secretaries of India (ICSI-EIRC), is organizing its 71st Management Skills Orientation Programme (MSOP), formerly known as SMTP from 14th June, 2012 to 30th June, 2012 at “ICSI-EIRC Building”, 3A, Ahiripukur 1st Lane, Kolkata 700 019. The duration of the programme may be extended. Attendance in all the days is compulsory.
As per Regulation 50(b) of The Company Secretaries Regulations 1982, all students of the Institute who have passed the Final / Professional examinations and completed 15 months management training or got exemption from the Institute for the same period, are compulsory required to undergo 15 days MSOP.
Eligible students who are desirous of undergoing MSOP, may submit their prescribed application forms duly filled in along with the total fee of Rs.8,500/- (Rupees Eight Thousand Five Hundred Only) payable in cash (by hand) or by demand draft drawn in favour of “The Institute of Company Secretaries of India–EIRC” payable at Kolkata at EIRO of ICSI, 3A, Ahiripukur 1st Lane, Kolkata 700 019. A maximum of 50 candidates will be admitted on first come first served basis.
Simple/Working Vegetarian Lunch and tea with snacks/biscuits (morning & evening) will be provided to the participants on all the days.
The participants are advised to maintain the following Dress Code strictly during the days of Programme.
Dress Code for Male: Sober Colored Shirts, Trousers, Tie and Shoes. (Suit/ blazer preferred)
Dress Code for Female: Sari or Sober Colored Salwar Khameez. (Suit preferred)
Participants are requested not to carry cell phones during the classroom sessions.

Student Induction Programme (SIP) and Executive Development Programme (EDP) at “ICSI-EIRC Building”, -
The Institute of Company Secretaries of India, Eastern India Regional Council (ICSI-EIRC), is organizing Student Induction Programme (SIP) and Executive Development Programme (EDP) at “ICSI-EIRC Building”, 3A, Ahiripukur 1st Lane, Kolkata 700 019.
The candidate who have registered for Executive Programme on or after 1st September, 2009 are required to undergo Student Induction Programme (SIP) for a period of 7 days within 6 months from the date of registration.
Every candidate apart from passing the Professional Programme examination is a1so required to possess the practical experience and undergo the practical training or be exempted there from as specified in the Regulations for becoming eligible to the Associate Membership of the Institute. Candidates who do not possess experience as prescribed in the Regulations are required to undergo training. Such candidates are required to undergo eight days Executive Development Programme (EDP) as induction training.
Eligible students who are desirous of undergoing SIP and EDP, may submit their prescribed application forms duly filled in along with the participation fee of Rs.1,000/- (Rupees one thousand only) for each programme payable in cash (by hand) or by demand draft drawn in favour of “The Institute of Company Secretaries of India–EIRC” payable at Kolkata at the Students Services, ICSI-EIRO, 3A, Ahiripukur 1st Lane, Kolkata 700 019.
