Dear Professional colleagues,

I have been informed by one of my friends that job market in finance is going very bad for CA's these days, & normally freshers are not preferred. Is this true? Kindly answer at the earliest as having keen interest in finance.

You are right Prakash. For CA's there is a opportunity to practise only. Job market getting down.

There are no jobs in the market. You'll find a job only if you know the right people and they are ready to vouch for you!indecision

Its a big NO..

Conditions aren't so bad as much as others are saying..
I take a strong exception to it..

The reality is Jobs are less but not NIL.
Salary is also low and bit compromising..
Actually CA's are more and quality CA's are less...

Have patience and keep updating your knowledge and communication skills, victory will be yours

Good Luck to all :))

Total thanks : 4 times

Miss aditi till date how many inetrviews have you faced when a person gives a certain amount he expects the basic understanding of the subject which todays generation is lacking because of spoon feeding by the coaching centres which is eroding the ability of students to apply their brain. and its because of this when twisted questions are asked in interviews they appear blank.

ultimately a disrepute goes to the instiute the kind of product it is delivering in the market. i also give u one more example in my company a fresh chartered accountant is not able to place a entry related to purchase bill.

I think if there is any CA who passed in one attempt and sitting idle at home then I would say there are following reasons for it :

1. The person is not applying or searching for the job as aggresively as one should.(Though the chances are less that this is happening)

2. The person must be a 100%dummy.
3. Having 0% practical exposure.
4.Etc ETc.

Its not a sarcastic comment, its the reality which I am also facing .
