Any Big 4 works in departmentalised enviornment. You will first have to determine which department you want to be in on the basis of your core strengths- Statutory Audit, Internal Audit, IFRS / Accounting Advisory, Direct Tax, Corporate Tax, Indirect Tax, Corporate Advisory Services etc.
Then, approach the firm with a strong resume & lots of confidence, not to mention knowledge.
Prove your case as being fit for being a part of the culture - for this it is best that you go through the website thoroughly. This way you will be able to answer some of the questions such as why do you want the firm (in your case EY)?
And with lots of knowledge & great luck, you should be able to crack the interview.
PS: Keep tracking job websites such as naukri / monster / caclub where these firms post the openings through their HR Consultants.
Best of luck
