Please help on ITR rejection

I had filed my ITR AY 2015-16 and it was rejected due to non payment of tax

now i paid all taxes and now im trying to file itr then error coming that only one origional ITR can be filed u/s 139

so now i have to file revise return?

origional return is filed after due date

please help

Rejected/Invalid return cannot be revised. Try again after few days to file u/s. 139(4), if original recently rejected.

Sir, Same is the my case, The return was treated as "Invalid" in the month of January, 2017. CPC Has informed to file fresh return, but unable to upload the same. CPC has also informed to file the fresh return with local ITO. Please help.

@ CA Ameetkumar Jain: Hope you would have retried filing the ITR u/s. 139(4) (and not any other option). If again unsuccessful, manually file it with your Jurisdictional ITO, stating the reason of non-acceptance of the same online. Good luck.

That will do. They will clear the problem and you can upload the return fresh

i already submitted gravience, they told file fresh itr

but while filing fresh itr error is coming that only one fresh itr can be filed u/s 139

if we select revised option then return is acceptable

so it is ok to file return with revised selection??

Its better to proceed.If the website is allowing, we can proceed. All we want is that the return must be uploaded.

If they are gonna reject it, themn the original return will also be rejected.You may then file a fresh IT Return

Sir, The return is for AY 2015-16, but AO is telling that the ITR's with refunds cannot be accepted by them.

@ CA Ameetkumar Jain: Actually there is bug in the IT software, so you may try with diffrent options also, as one recorded above as revised return u/s. 139(5), though it may not be correct proceedure.
