Itr not filed for ay 2009-10 onwards
Dear Experts,
One of my friend did not filed IT return for AY 2009-10 to 2012-13. However TDS has been deducted around 154000.00( One Lac Fifty Four Thousand) on these assessment years. Is there any way we can file ITR & get TDS refunded??
I will be highly grateful for your help in this regard.

No , you can only file income tax return up to 1 year from the end of the relevant AY. for AY 2009-10, you can not file Income tax return after 31st march, 2011.Like wise for Ay 2012-13, last date was 31st march 2014. However If you have received any notice under 142(1) inresponse to that you can file return to jurisdictional officer with a penalty for late filing of return.
