Itr e-filing error

Hello all.

I am filing my ITR through ITR Java utility.

It has validation function. Though, everything is correct but it shows validation errors like first name cannot exceed 25 characters, PAN has to be 10 digit etc., when everything is actually correct.

Is anyone else facing same? How to correct it?

havent faced any such problem yet... you should check for any extra spaces, if there is any... or try filling a fresh itr.

There aren't any white spaces. I have even tried pre-fill.

I can use excel utility, but want to know why java ain't working, since that's so simple.

Seems like a technical error.

Hope you have installed the latest java version, as recommended by the income tax department. Try keying in data rather than doing copy paste.

Your Java programme should be latest and you should also check virus in your computer

Download java utility again n reinstall it

go for quick filing and use internet explorer and n ot google chrome - jus a trial and error method

Uninstall ur java application... Install JRE1.7 again
delete the current Java utility... Download the new one
it would help u

Uninstall all java versions and install only 1.7 It will definitely work Reinstall 1.7 also ITR 2013 14 or older does not properly work on java 1.8

ITR 2014 15 JAVA UTILITY IS OLDER THUS IT DOES NOT PROPERLY WORKS ON JAVA 1.8 SO INSTALL ONLY 1.7 IF ALREADY INSTALLED 1.7 TRY TO REINSTALL 1.7 BUT UNINSTALL ALL OTHER VERSIONS
