Is service tax on restaurant bills valid ?
Please advice if there's Sevice Tax applicable on restaurant bills as to me it seems illegal and replacement of Service charges.

GST is applicable on all other items except liqour...
But restaurant also charge .... SERVICE CHARGES .... some times...
Service tax is migrated to gst. service charges are optional.
If services are for Alcoholic Liquor for human consumption then restaurant will still charge Service tax as Gst is not applicable on that.
Liquor does not fall within the purview of gst. You are wrong.
