06 February 2013this is Durga . i gave my 3rd attempt this nov . first two times i wasnt that studious but i gave the nov attempt all sincerely. i learnt tax and law like anything . yet the results were all shocks and surprises . i got only 33 in tax . i was very sure that i would get above 60 in tax . i lost nearly 3 yrs in this .. i dont know if i should get go ahead with this stream or not .. i feel like nothing but useless here ..

Don't loose your hope Durga. This happened with me too. There are numerous instances where we expect more and land getting less and vice-versa. So plz don't give up and study hard.

i heard only re-totalling is possible??
i have attended nearly all questions in tax . service tax to be precise , am sure of all the provisions i have written .
You check up with your concerned icai branch...regarding retotalling/verification procedure....and apply for that...as soon as possible.....
Take break for few days.....visit native place or religious places....
Refresh yourself from this tension..............
Then continue ur study......in new approach...........

am from chennai .. i got to see in icaiexams.nic website that the applications for re-totalling can be filled online along with a written application . the link hasnt been open yet .

You have invested 3 years of time in CA. So if you quit it now, it'll be like you've wasted 3 years of your life. So it is very strongly recommended to continue your CA. Patience, persistence and perspiration make an unbeatable combination for success. Good luck.

don't loose hope durga...if ur sure of getting above 60 in tax than go for verification and just concentrate on next attempt..me too gone thru same situation and everyone know how u feeling right now...just forget about it and concentrate on next attempt becus in CA all u need is patience. Just prepare with strategy, do practice manuals of institute .. all the best..

am planning to go for verification of law and tax . i got 58 in law . had it been 2 more marks i would have secured exemption ...
