24 April 2014Hello, I registered for IPCC in Jan.2010 for IPCC , as far as I know I will have to re register for as my previous regestration is devalidated. I want to write Nov. IPCC exams so can you please tell me that when should I re register ? & another question is that if I can convert to IPC from IPCC for November Exams ....if I can then when should I switch? plzzzz... Help!!

- Initial registration/revalidation for then IPCC, now Intermediate (IPC) Course is valid for 4 years.

- Students are required to have valid registration before applying for exams. But do not wait until then and apply for revalidation at the earliest.

- IPCC and IPC course are not different. It just has been renamed w.e.f. May 2013 exams (View ICAI Announcement).

- But if you are a commerce graduate with 55% marks then you have the option to convert into ‘Direct Entry Scheme’.

No, not at all. You just need to submit the revalidation application with prescribed fee of Rs. 400/- by demand draft.

There are no amendments in IPC Audit paper for May 2014 attempt. Furthermore, Companies Act, 2013 is NOT applicable for May 2014 attempt. Therefore, you may refer to those notes.
