Ipcc may 2013 exam

Dear all,

I am student based in Chennai. I will be appearing for IPCC both groups in May 2013. I have some queries. I would be extremely grateful if you could guide me.

1. What kind of change can we expect in the syllabus of Accounting and Advanced Accounting from the present syllabus? Is there will be any change, will it be a major one?
2. I would also would like to know the quantum of change in the Taxation syllabus. Will the Direct tax code totally change the syllabus? Also Will there be an overall change in the syllabus of Taxation?
3. I will not be able to take up the November 2012 attempt due to college semester exams which unfortunately clash with IPCC exams. Same timing 2 to 5 PM. I don't want to miss college exams and get a history of arrear since I plan to pursue MBA after 4 to 5 years of work experience from a global B school.
4. When can I join articleship if I clear IPCC in May 2013? Do firms accept interns who are expecting results?

I cleared CPT in June 2010. I was totally held up in college activities for 2 years and I plan to appear for the May 2013 exam very seriously.

1) there might be a change in  shchedule 6 format

2)Its very difficult that DTC will become applicable in india need not worry abt that and yes tax slabs will get changed some new services might become applicabe

4)if u clear in may 2013 result comes in august then only u can join training

My self somit srivastava. This year only i completed my gradution (B.Com) with aggregate 62% and now i want to write IPCC in May 2013 directly. so plz let me know weather m eligible or not and also i heard that those student passed gradution need not to write CPT.

Ya sure somit, you are directly eligible for IPCC, just get register urself for ipcc and also u can start 3yrs articleship without clearing group I of IPCC, as per recent notification issued by institute for graduated students..All d best

Iam a MBA Graduate & have cleared CPT on june2010 i gave 3 attempts(only Group 1) but didnt clear stil  so planned to prepare seriously and attempt on may 2013

If i write my exams on may 2013 will there be any change in Accounts or taxation paper

Or i need to register for articles since nowadays gradutes are directly getting into Inter i have not yet finished my IT coaching also

OR its better to write on Nov itself pls help me

hello i passed my cpt held in dec 2011 then registered only for ipcc group 1 going to be held in nov 12 but due to some unavoidable circumstances i wont be able to give it now so now im planning to give my both groups in may 2013 but i dont know what was last day for registartion for group 2 may 2013 exams can anyone help me on this ??? asap
