For a fresher it will take atleast one and half months to cover the entire syllabus. It depends on your Hard work and Concentration which are key factors in CA.

3-4 hours per day on accounts is enough. Coz you have to concentrate on other subjects also...

Dear Megan,
Make sure ur basics are strong.It will help u in the longer run.Time allotment depends on how fast u grasp d concepts and understand them thoroughly.In the initial stages it may take more time but once u get d grip over d subject den everythng's like a cake walk.Recommended time for Accounts is 3 hrs.But it depends on ur convenience..

Just Work on Your Basics 1st
after that go for Practise and what time consumes to do this Bhargav also tells you
