IPCC group

SHOULD GO FOR BOTH GROUP. IF YOU PASS ONE GROUP THAN YOU WILL NOT HAVE TO APPEAR IN THAT GROUP AGAIN

Yes as said by prem and future ca you must attempt both the group by which u will be having an advantage of set off

Yes you have  the advantage of getting marks set off if u write both groups.

but clearing both group doesnt save ur time ,u still have cant appear in ca final for 2.5years,doesnt matter u clear 1st or both group,my suggestion would be to concentrate on 1st group and during articleship go for the 2nd group

I totally agree with the above quote, Its not easy for an average student to clear both group in a shot, I have seen many stutent attempting both group for 4 to 5 times but still the results r negetive. Is there any strong reason to give both group, if u r thinking that setoff is a reason then 'It is' but for the above average student.....

My suggestion will be go for one grp...... Clear it..& for the next one u will get 2.5 years.................

write both groups together. bcoz auditing and infotech are easy..u can set off incase if u dont do the first group well

The ans for the same is see if u clear ur cpt in june 2011 the ur ipcc atempt will be may2012. if u concentrate on 1st grp only and clear it then ur eligiblity for the final attempt will be after 2.5yrs and between this u can give 2nd grp with ur articleship. but if u give both grp & unable to clear 1st one then u cannot start ur articleship & ur attempt for the final will further delayed by 6month (if u clear it in next month & so on....)
