There is a LLP in which there are two partners, its a legal firm advancing legal services.
Now can a Practicing Company Secretary work independently in its own capacity (retaining COP) and sign in its own name after becoming a partner of that LLP?

When a Professional he/she is a partner in any Proff Firm He/she is there in a capacity of a partner & any signature done is on behalf of the firm that does not mean that such Practicing person has lost his Right to practice or work in his Individual capacity also, Else no person would have been Partners in Multiple firms. Also see the COP it is in your Personal Name Giving you a status of Practicing CS, But One thing be careful the Total no of Certifications/Compliances etc whatever you sign in the firm as a Partner & also in your Individual ass Put togather will have to be counted to arrive your Limit of the eligible certifications which you are allowed to do during the year, Here there are no seperate & Individual Limits as partner in a Firm & for Individual. Limits are Total for "An" Individual Practicing CS. I hope your query is solved
