We for a company received an intimation u/s 245 asking demand adjustment of old Assessment Year against current AY year refund. But the query is that, there written in Table " DEMAND UPLOADED BY CPC " what does it mean and where to find such demand on which income tax site and how???

Hi Mr Sanjay, we also received the same kind of intimation to many of our clients. The Demand might have been already raised through an intimation u/s 143(1) or Demand Notice u/s 156. Unfortunately, we can't get this information in the Income Tax website for the AY 2010-11 and preceding AYs. So please immediately make a request to your jurisdictional Assessing Officer to issue the same, so that you can find whether the demand is already paid and reply to the intimation u/s 245 within the prescribed limit of 30 days
