Intimation u/s 143(1) receives

Dear Sir/Madam One of my client has filed his Income tax return of A.Y. 2014-15 after due date and now he received an intimation u/s 143(1). By this intimation he came to know something wrong data/information has been filed by mistake. Now my question is that whether the assessee can revise his return? or is any other solution available to rectify the mistake ? Please Suggest me how to deal with above case.
