There is no prescribed format. They may ask questions from any area like MIS, Project Finance, AS, Costing, Ratios etc.

In an Interview for Internal Auditor, the one will like know your views on Importance of Internal Control and the procedure which you would follow at the time of Internal Audit. Also, you should have a basic knowledge about that Industry to answer the probable areas of fraud.

Internal audit is a major area from where a wide range of questions are asked in interviews. Procedure followed in internal audit varies from industry to industry or client to client.

It would be very useful if someone can give a detailed personal experience of any specific company's internal audit. It should help many.
