Internal Audit Report Format is not specific it depend upon industry and group management policy .

Internal audit report is designed to add value and improve operations of an organization. It helps to achieve the goals and targets which are planed by the senior management. But it depends on every organization how make format of audit report.

Please freeze the scope of audit to be covered.
Arrive at the deliverables depending on the scope and the understanding you grasped from the discussions with the management team.
Broad areas to be covered have to be listed.
In each area the matters to be verified and reported are to be frozen.
After all this report the areas where according to you the management has to be kept informed.
The report can be in normal worded statement and no specific format need be adhered to.
