Interesting case
my client is running hotel and bar. But licence of bar is in the name of other person. That person given right to use this licence to my client for rental. please clarify in this case who is required to pay VAT owner of licence or person who actually running hotel

But purchase billing is made in the name of owner. Is this make any difference????
Liable for owner...... But it can't be treated as license issued for rental.. Owner pay salary to other persons.
The seller is liable to pay vat, so your client is liable..

Both seller and owner and if both are same personal should be held responsible. This case is certainly quite different.
