Here I would like to know the Following Details.

1.Whether Article Student is Elegable for that ( If Yes Then WHen.?)

2.Is any Better Use for the Student Than Articleship for his Carrier/Educational Life.

3.How to get Updates of CA Industrial Training Vacancies In Our CA Club India.

4.Finally Suggest me About the Decission

Iam Doing My Articleship Period From March-18-2013.

ELIGIBILITY AND OTHER CONDITIONS FOR UNDERGOING INDUSTRIAL TRAINING

(i) An articled assistant who has passed the Integrated Professional Competence Examination / Professional Competence Examination/ Professional Education (Examination - II) or Intermediate examination can serve as an Industrial trainee in any of the financial, commercial, industrial undertakings as may specified by the Council or such other institution or organization as may be approved by the Council from time to time.

(ii) Articled assistant before proceeding for Industrial Training has to intimate his principal at least three months before the date on which such training has to commence.

(iii) Minimum period of Industrial Training may range between nine months and twelve months during the last year of prescribed period of practical training.

(iv) The Industrial Training shall be received under a member of the Institute. An Associate who has been a member for a continuous period of at least three years is entitled to train one industrial trainee and fellow is entitled train two industrial trainee at a time, whether

such trainees are articled assistants or audit assistants.

(v) An agreement of training is to be entered in the approved form i.e. Form No. 104

(vi) On satisfactory completion of industrial training, the principal has to issue service certificate in the approved form i.e. Form No. 105.

(vii) The form-104, in duplicate, should be sent so as to reach the office of the Institute within 30 days from the date of commencement of Industrial Training.

Industrial training also offers an opportunity to the trainees to take part in specialised accounting exercises. Thus, for instance, the closing of accounts provides an opportunity for them to acquire the skills necessary as a concomitant to the theoretical knowledge which they have acquired earlier.

Industrial training may also expose the trainees to management accounting, cost accounting, management information system, EDP, etc. It also provides an opportunity to them to participate in the work relating to corporate laws, taxation and secretarial practice.

Every CA aspirants have a dream to have atricleship in a big firm. This is obvious because we heard from many people that articleship is the golden period for CA students. This is true, because in these three years students get various exposure which is useful in the entire life of a Chartered Accountant. So here, I will tell you about my experience when, I used to find a big firm for the articleship.

To work in a corporate or not
Final exam, study
Preparation time allowed or not
Exposure of learning in a corporate
Value addition in Curriculum Vitae, etc.

On considering the above the decision is to made and I believe that for doing industrial training ones need to have a plan before joining the articleship because some firms not allowed article for industrial training. During two years of articleship, you come to know the process of work of various firms, companies, trust, etc. Now, when you work in a Company you will come across learning various things and you have an opportunity to interact with various departments and persons which will improve your communication skills which leads to building personality development. Not only has this but it added value additions in your CV, which makes you USP from others. You will get an opportunity to work with professional teams on various projects which will not available in the CA firm during the articleship. Assigning responsibility of works carters you to handle and managing things during the pressure of time.

Along with building and improving the process of learning & developments you will receive a good amount of stipend during the period of industrial training. And, if your performance and works are satisfactory to the management they will place you in the same organization after you qualify the exam with a handsome package. You don't need to face a struggle for a job and work after you qualify. Hence it also solves the problem of placement.
