Increased in Online filing of income tax returns

Filling of return through online is simplest method for filling return and any body can file his return through this facility without waiting going to the Department just by sitting at home because of this advantage  filing of tax returns in India through internet gone up 80% to 91.57 lakh in 2010-11 and is projected to  7.5 crore in five years, according to an online service information. 

SNK ETax Solutions Chairman Sanjay N Kapadiaa said in 2010-11, the number of tax returns filed was 4.4 crore, compared to 3.40 crore in the previous fiscal. 

Online tax filing in 2010-11 was 91.57 lakh, compared to 51.06 lakh in 2009-10. 

"With the acceptance of digitisation across India, SNK ETax has estimated that tax filing will be doubled to 10 crore in the year 2015-16, out of which more than 7.5 crore will be filed online," Kapadiaa told a news conference. 

SNK ETax Solutions Ltd, a company offering solutions to companies and individuals on taxation, corporate laws and assurance services, today announced the launch of taxsum.com, a tax filing portal that caters to all categories of tax filing audiences. 

The company said the portal is compatible to file taxes in categories rangin from ITR 1 to ITR 6, offering a multi-language, user-friendly experience and a complete solution for computing and filing tax returns online. 

"Taxsum.com becomes India's only tax returns filing portal offering browser-based digital signatures and enabling filing of ITR-1 through mobile phones," Kapadiaa said. 

The charges for filing of IT returns Online only Rs 189, said.
