Dear Sir

IS it complusory to file income tax return in case of Non Resident of india for the income accrue arise in india. The same person is person of india origin. The same person is nond resident for the two financial F.Y 15-16 & 16-17.

Please suggest.

If the income arise/accrued in India, is above basic exemption limit (2.50lakhs/ 3.00 lakhs, SS); the assessee (be NRI) is liable to file return.
