one of my client a refund through cheque of rs. 66000. by quoting wrong bank account number mentioned in the return. banker is not accepting the cheque.. what will be the solution to get back the money from them????

Please see the refund re-issue manual of IT dept.

i hope this helps.

efiling-->account-->refund re-issue request.

If you have got refund from manual filing then you have to give the cheque back to

ur ward Ao.

the above query is solved. i know refund reissue request has to be made. but i doesnot have the 143(1) notice to mention notice and refing sequence number. even under reissue 143(1) notice request could not be available. it was sorted out a week back...
