No there is no such requirement of getting any permission of AO to claim relief u/s 89...u first need to do self assessment so no such things is required to be dispensed with

No permission required to claim relief u/s 89 of the Income Tax Act, 1961.

Hi,

I am investing the recurring deposit of Rs 2000.00 Per month is this amount can be considered under the savings proof under the section 80 C.

For availing rebate u/s 89, there is a specific column in the return, one need to fill details. There is no such requirement of getting any permission of AO.Return must be filed within time

no permission is needed bt return to be filed with in time to get relief
