Can an individual claim a self occupied property when his HUF claims self occcupied property(another property)?

Yes both are assessed as separate legal entity in income tax. I.e karta and individual can have 2 separate sop.
Needless to say, it should not be a case of clubbing of income. I.e individual should not have trfd the house purchased by him to huf. The property needs to be an ancestral property or purchased by huf.
