Income tax for education fee reimbursed by employer
If a Ltd Company is paying/reimbursing the fees (Bill/Receipt is in the name of employee) for Executive MBA course for one of its directors, whether this amount is taxable for the employee i.e. director.
Is the expenditure admissible for Income tax exemption for the Company?

If the Training course fees as long as the skills are relevant to the business can be claimed as expenses .
otherwise in any case ,it should be treated as dividend and should be liable to pay by company @ 15% DDT as additional levy.
