Income tax
I m a state govt. employee. i have paid less income tax due to wrong calculation of HRA.. I have to pay the rest amount. how can i pay either through challan or online. which challan is prescribed for this 280 or 281

Challan no ITNS 280, can be paid online.
Sir who is responssible to deposit myself or the DDO. Ofcourse the money will be mine, but I want to know the through which the amount will be deposited. In form 280 there is no column to mention TAN of the DDO

When you are paying any shortfall yourself, only your PAN is mantioned. Your employer/DDO is not involved in this option.
